Fareham and Basingstoke are the latest Centres to join the growing county-wide Smarter Working Centre Network

The Fareham Smarter Working Centre, based at Fareham Enterprise Centre was officially opened on 16 March by Dr David Price, Chief Executive of the Chemring Group. He was joined by Councillor Jonathan Glen, Hampshire County Council’s Executive Member for Economic Development, and Councillor Sean Woodward, Fareham Borough Council Leader. Meantime, Friday 26th March was the official opening date for the  the Basingstoke SWC based at the prestigious Worting House on the Western outskirts of the Town. Basingstoke & Deane Mayor Brian Gurden performed the honours in front of around forty invited guests (The full press release will be inserted here shortly)

Two further centres - in Portsmouth and Lyndhurst- are due to join the network by the end of May.
